How it all started

The business was started by Sue Hope-Borland in 2002. Sue has been working in psychology since 1987 and has extensive knowledge and experience in the field. Sue has previously worked at Ashworth Hospital and as Head of Clinical Services for Mental Health Care Group. in 2002 Sue decided to go into full time private work within the psychological sector.

Over the years Sue has expanded the business and now co-directs with her son Henry. Hope-Borland Associates Ltd have over 30 years of collective experience in various areas of psychology including Assessment, Interpretation, intervention and as Expert Witnesses to a wide range of corporate and individual clients. HBA core values are of independence and integrity with a socially inclusive philosophy.
